Oh this could be very dangerous so I'll watch myself. You want me to share some memories...well let me filter through 1,000 great ones, narrow it down to 50 I can discuss with the general public and then from there think of one or two to actually share. This is difficult.
1. The Folsom Street Fair...we're going back to about 1994...Jackie pouring pitchers of water (was it really water...perhaps not)on people. We were all drenched and dancing on the bars. Tom Jones was blasting and everyone was having the time of their life.
2. On second thought, best not share this one.
3. J's 50th birthday party was something to remember or maybe best to forget. Keep him from pulling his shorts down and keep him away from the mic.
4. Every Friday and Saturday there was a great story to remember and cherish. Peter is one of the best things about Julies. Some great people work/worked at Julies through the years and everyone had one thing in common...they all knew how to have a great time!

Ryab and I were so honored to throw our infamous +Rehab+ Sunday disco brunches at Julie's in 2004/2005--we came to David with our crazy disco brunch idea, and not only did he totally support us, but really made it fun, like, really fun. It would be mad crazy slammed and the poor man would be running around all over the place, but always with a smile and never lost his cool. Heck, we'd do shots! What can you say, David loves people, and the party. +Rehab+ was so much more special because of the space, the staff and at the center of it all, David.

Thanks so much, we loved our party at Julie's, and so many others did too... it was an epic chapter!

All the best and we'll miss you,
Marcia and Ryan of +Rehab+

I am deeply saddened to hear about the closing of JSC. This was the place I celebrated my birthday every year with my closest friends and I have missed it so after moving away from SF. It was truly one of the City's great dining institutions and, I am sure, will be missed by everybody who everhad the pleasure of sitting at table and enjoying the unique flavor of food and atmosphere. I loved sitting in the back room and enjoying glasses of wine or Grey Goose martinis with friends and strangers alike. Julie's truy defined the nature and spirit of life in San Francisco. Good night, sweet princess, we'll miss ye.

I was about to recommend the restaurant to someone and went to the web site today 9/28 and found out Julie's is closed! I'm so bummed--we had a couple of great parties there and I'll really miss the place.

I just saw on the website that Julie's is CLOSED! There goes my social life. I use to go there with my girlfriend until she had two kids in the last year and a half. We use to have our Julie's night after a long hard day. I just mentioned to my girlfriend last week when it was a beautiful day, "It's a Julies day." We had Christmas Parties and Birthday Parties there. It will be truly missed
