Where do I begin? To me, David is Julies. He gave me not only some of the wildest nights in the city (not to mention the bay, literally) but also some of the most special. He's thoughtful, generous, affectionate and sincere. He fun, crazy and full of life. His smile is infectious and there will always be a place in my heart for him and the wonderful place he built. -Kris Loew (Laskowski) ("Saturday Night Special" cocktail waitress, early 90s).

Kris said it well. David is Julies! David is why all the people who work/worked at Julies had a great attitude, genuinely cared about and treated the customers with kindness. With David at the helm, the employees knew how it,s done so everyone would have a great experience. There has never been a better boss, David is the most generous, fun, kind, thoughtful, loving, appreciative and wonderful person. We are all better people having worked or spent time with David. It was truly "David's Supper Club" and it will be VERY MISSED!

David was like a father to me when I worked there. He always looked out for me and showed a genuine concern for my well-being. Then there was the fun side... smoking at our desks... drinks after work... I'll never forget the guy who worked for "the news" we'll call it, picking me up for a date that I got dragged into and David and Nadia watching on like proud parents - I felt like a kid being forced to date a rich guy's son or something. hahaha... I think they were just happy to see me dating somone OTHER than the bartenders who worked there. ;) If I had my choice, I would have David for a boss for the rest of my life. He is sincerely the best person I have ever worked for.
